Personal Time

Your Personal Time can be a powerful resource depending on how you use it.  It is also rare as so much distractions screams at us,  but personal time can also be advantageous.  Reflect on Daniel 6 vs, 10.  The story shares on Daniel that three times per day Daniel dedicated to praying on his knees before his God.  Despite him serving in the kings house along with his many other tasks he faithfully used his personal time to invest in prayer.  On one occasion his tormentors dragged him before the king and complained that he was going against the king’s wishes in praying to his God instead of paying homage to the king, Dan, 6. Because Daniel prioritized prayers God was able to deliver Daniel from evil schemes set before him.  Daniel invested in prayers with his personal time, this time God sealed the lions mouth and rescued Daniel.  There are many stories in the Bible that talks about prayers and how God reacts and responds.

Today what do you do with your personal time?  For me, personal time is a huge challenge, I find myself scrolling the internet, reading news updates, or just idling on social media.  It is a huge playing field, decisions, choices and different voices screaming for our attention.  But God is patient, merciful and kind, Ps. 103, vs. 8, declares that God is “slow to anger, and abounding in mercy”…… he wants to hear from you.   I ask you to invest in prayer and invest in time with God and watch and see how He works for you and your behalf.
