On this date a miracle occurred and I wanted to share it.  So many think a miracle is a result of praying, or a result of something that you are hoping will come to fruition.  However, miracles too can be a direct testimony to someone who needs to experience Christ as well as a testimony to the believer themself.  So here it is……, this happened to someone very close to me lets call her Joan.  She had been eating her supper in a rush hoping to alleviate hunger pangs that brandished itself hard upon her. In order to satisfy the hunger pangs the food went down hastily and chewing well was not an option for her.  Sure enough a piece of meat lodged itself in the back of her throat. That night would have been the beginning of a long arduous journey of pain, dizzy spells and pure chaos.  Well over noon the following day, moving from one hospital to the next seeking an ENT specialist, Joan’s daughter became weary trying to get the medical help her mother needed. It is now 4pm, sitting in the ENT office from a long day of pain and discomfort Joan herself prayed. “Dear Lord help me, hear me and deliver me”. As sure as the sun sets in the east that how sure Joan felt the stuck piece of food item dislodged.  “But it can’t be”, she swallowed again, and again.  “Its gone, nothing is there”, “How can that be?”  With the Doctor entering any minute now, Joan began to laugh. “Doctor”, she asked, “Are you a Christian, Do you believe in God”. “No”, he responded. “Well Doctor”, we serve a God who cares for us who loves us and who hears us”.  “I am here sitting in front of you trying to get medical help, when after praying the food got dislodged from my throat”.   “You have to believe that there is a God”.  I am not sure if this particular Doctor needed to be reminded who the God of heaven is, but I am convinced that day he witnessed a miracle right in front of his eyes in his office,

See God works in mysterious ways, ways we cant begin to comprehend, But He want us to always call upon Him, the situation you are in maybe the one that He is working through for His Kingdom.  Psalm 50, vs. 15 declares, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you will honor Me”.  Surely, Joan had honored her Lord when she testified to the Doctor that day God has heard and delivered her.
