Sophia Campbell was born in Jamaica and later moved to Canada. she has worked in the school system in BC for several years. When she developed a chronic health issue, she focused on her strongest passions: writing and her faith in Christ. At home Sophia enjoys cooking and entertaining and spending quality time with her daughters and husband. She resides in Abbotsord, British Columbia.

My kind Jehovah, it is when I write for you I am closest to you. I feel lost in gratitude before you. When I write, O Lord, my heart pours out. My emotions, my love, my dedication spilled out just for you. When I write for you, O Lord, I am in a different place; I am close to you. I can see and feel your love for me; it brings tears to my eyes. You see who I really am before you. It becomes pitiful; I am pitiful before you. You see who I am, yet you love me. Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am known to you. Your love and compassion for me are greater; they far outweigh the magnitude of your oceans and majestic hills you created.
